Everest Glory

Mt. Everest the highest mountain in the world is situated in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Besides the glorious visage of the Everest, one gets to experience Sherpa culture and hospitality at it’s best. Beginning with a spectacular flight to Lukla (2,800m), the scenic trails wind through fragrant rhododendron and pine forests, Buddhist monasteries and landscape varying from temperate to snowline regions. From Thyangboche, views of Mt. Everest (8,850m). Lhotse (8,516m), Nuptse (7,855m), Ama Dablam (6,812m), Cho-Oyu (8,201m) from here are simply awe-inspiring.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Lukla (B, L, D)

Morning, transfer to the airport and fly to Lukla. Trek to Phakding (2650m) (5 hrs walk).

Day 03: Lukla - Namche (B, L, D)

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3450m), the largest Sherpa village in this region (6 hrs walk)

Day 04: Namche - Thyangboche (B, L, D)

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thyangboche (3870m) (5 hrs walk).

Day 05: Thyangboche - Jorsale (B, L, D)

Morning, visit the popular Thyangboche monastery. Later trek down to Jorsale (2805m) visiting Khumjung village (7 hrs walk)

Day 06: Jorsale - Lukla (B, L, D)

Trek back from Jorsela to Lukla bazaar (2830m) (5 hrs walk).

Day 07: Lukla - Kathmandu (B)

Walk to the airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 08: Kathmandu (B)

Free in Kathmandu for optional activities.

Day 09: Kathmandu - Departure (B)

Free till departure. Transfer to the airport to connect the international flight.
